Unless you’re going the natural route like me (which is not for everyone, obviously), chances are you’re taking one or more prescription medications for your mental health.

And, according to survey findings published in the June issue of Consumer Reports, it pays to shop around for prescription medications.

But we’ve known that for a while, haven’t we?

In Costs Can Vary By $100 or More for Same Drugs, Consumer Reports magazine senior editor Tod Marks said:

“In our survey, we found that there was a significant price difference, not only for the same drug at different stores, but there were price differences within the same chain and the online price [...] sometimes those prices can be significantly different.”

*sigh*

As if taking out a loan to fill up our gas tanks weren’t enough.
