Baked Chicken Wings Adobo

I have made chicken wings adobo before but they weren’t as good as the ones I made last night. I think it had something to do with how I treated the meat. Before, I would just simmer the wings with the adobo sauce until tender the way I make pork adobo. Most of the time the chicken wings were so tender that the meat were off of the bone.
Last night I wanted to actually have the wings. I found a way of having the chicken wings intact by baking it first.

Honey Mustard Wings

When we are having our Hot Wings night, I set aside some of the fried wings for the kids. They usually get them plain or sometimes I make honey-mustard sauce to make them honey-mustard wings. It’s quite simple by the way.
INGREDIENTS :
chicken wings
2 cups of flour
salt and pepper
vegetable oil for deep frying
SAUCE :
1/2 cup or more honey
1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
1 tbsp butter

Garlic Parmesan & Honey Mustard Wings

Have you ever checked out the online video series, Budget Health Nut with chef Joe Dias? The basic premise is that he shows you how to make a meal for 2-8 people for under $25. The cuisine is unique, looks delicious and it’s healthy.
I love the videos because they are clear and easy-to-follow.
My favorite is for the Garlic Parmesan & Honey Mustard Wings, Crab Stuffed Portabella Mushrooms, and Roma Tomato Topped Bruschetta Bread. Mmmm… delicious. Gourmet taste without the gourmet budget.
