Child safety seats are an extremely effective way of reducing the risk of death by as much as 71 percent. But nearly 73 percent of child restraints are not installed or used correctly. Nearly half of children who die in crashes are completely unrestrained. It’s time we make sure our children are safe.
Safe Kids coalitions around the country are holding approximately 850 vehicle safety events for families during the month of September, including more than 260 car seat checkup events on September 12 for the National Highway Safety Administration’s National Seat Check Saturday.

Kids Not Wearing Seatbelts

Yesterday I began a post and should’ve kept it more on the rant, instead I touched on a law that had just hit Michigan.
Today, I’d like us to talk about any experiences we’ve had with kids not wearing seat belts either in our own vehicles or seeing it on the road as we are driving. How do you REALLY feel? Here’s a few of my experiences:
