My older sister, who lives several states away, asked me over the phone on Christmas day, “Did you get your cat a stocking?”

My unexpected mistake
Choco likes to be held while looking out of the window. So, there we were peering peacefully out of the new bedroom window when I heard the strangest noises come out of my cat.

As I was packing up my pantry for an upcoming move, kitty was well entertained. Does your cat like to watch you work too?
I sat a Pyrex portables container on the counter. It’s one of those vinyl insulated covers meant to keep your casseroles warm during a trip. I guess I don’t travel with food much as I’ve used this wedding gift about three times in 10 years.
