New Mousse Temptation Desserts From Jell-o

One of the best parts of my job is the the opportunity to taste test new food. The other day one of those opportunities came up to taste test the new Mousse Temptation desserts by Jell-o. I have to tell you I was impressed with their flavor.

The new Mousse Temptations come in threee yummy flavors, Caramel Crème, Dark Chocolate Decadence and Chocolate Indulgence. The desserts are airy, but still rich in flavor, and definitely worthy of 60 calories each. The family favorite was the Caramel Crème. Which surprised me.

Chocolate Mousse with Olive Oil

I’m all about the dessert, in case you can’t tell by now, it’s even better if that dessert is chocolate. For summer desserts I like light, cool desserts and this recipe for chocolate mousse from Gaea fits that description perfectly.

Chocolate Mousse with Olive Oil from Chef Stelios Parliaros
Preparation time: 20 minutes 6 servings

9.5 ounces couverture chocolate
¾ cup Gaea DOP Kalamata Extra Virgin Olive Oil
7 eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp brandy
Zest of 1 orange or lemon.
