Honestly, I didn&#8217;t think it was possible to fracture a testicle, but that&#8217;s what happened to Arizona Diamondbacks&#8217; catcher Chris Snyder on June 30th when he was struck in the groin by a foul ball.
According to emedicine.com, although testicular fractures aren&#8217;t common, 50% of them happen during sporting events, ranging from wrestling to &#8211; apparently &#8211; baseball. <p>Honestly, I didn&#8217;t think it was possible to fracture a testicle, but that&#8217;s <a href="http://abcnews.go.com/Health/story?id=5333029&amp;page=1">what happened to Arizona Diamondbacks&#8217; catcher Chris Snyder</a> on June 30th when he was struck in the groin by a foul ball.</p>

<p>The article goes on to say that this injury is an emergency, and more than 80% of ruptured testes can be saved if surgery is performed within 72 hours.</p>
<p>Poor guy. That has got to hurt.</p>
