In keeping with our Christmas in July theme, I’ll mention Linette’s post, Trends in Christmas Trees, at She Knows Parties.  In the video Linette refers to, we learn about the colors used this year, plus natural ornaments or those resembling the out-of-doors, and a change in tree toppers.

You may want to look into these trends as you plan on making ornaments for your tree, as well as interior and exterior holiday decorating.
