As you all may have noticed, I am getting a little tired about thinking about being sick. Let alone writing about it. So right now, I have decided to just not write about the illness known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I would much rather spend my time, thinking and doing other things. Writing about this subject makes me concentrate on being sick, and not wellness. This is the reason why you don’t see a lot of posts about new and improved meds.
Its exhausting following all that news, and I don’t even find it newsworthy.

I am still keeping the blog active, don’t worry I am not going anywhere….but I do need to lighten things up a bit. Spruce up the blog while I spring clean my life.

Today’s household chore, is to clean under my bed. Usually there isn’t much under there. I don’t sleep well if I know that underneath my bed there is a village of objects. Currently there are 4 “monsters” under my bed that are going to have new homes today (well 3 – 1 actually belongs there).

These are:

a very cute pair of red leather clogs -will move to sit near the fireplace – they look like something Cinderella would wear (before she was a princess)

Parable XXI for Classical Guitar by Vincent Persichetti – it resides under the bed, because I am afraid of learning it – will move it to the music stand this afternoon

The book A History of Western Music – Donald J Grout – I keep it under the bed, for easy reach when I need help falling asleep. This book has been the catalyst of some good sleeps (worked in university – still works today) – only need to read about 1/2 paragraph, and its lights out.

A printer from about 10 years ago, I don’t have any idea why I still have it – or why it has traveled with me through at least 3 moves – it is going into the donation box, today!

OK now tell me, what is under your bed that is preventing you from having a good nights sleep? And where should it really be residing?
