New Book Alleges Sarah Palin Snorted Cocaine; I’m Not Turned Off

In his new book, The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin, Joe McGinniss reveals something that I’m sure he thought would shock people: Palin has snorted cocaine. Off an overturned 55-gallon drum during a snowmobile excursion, no less. Along with this allegation, he also claims she had her share of affairs and domestic struggles at home. (But let’s stick with the health-indiscretions of doing drugs for now.) Aside from trying to picture Miss Going Rogue herself snorting coke and then attempting to drive a snowmobile (let’s hope she was out in the middle of Alaska’s nowhere), I don’t see how this affects my–or anyone’s–political view of her.
