Parents of Columbine Shooters Suffering Too

I don’t fault the parents of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. I’m not sure I would still stand by that statement had my child been at Columbine the day of that deadly macaque. But from my very distant perspective, as a parent, I feel for them.
“Dylan did not do this because of the way he was raised,” said Susan Klebold during a 2004 interview with New York Times columnist David Brooks. “He did it in contradiction to the way he was raised.”

A Response to the Liberal Minded Mentality Regarding Gun Control
I thought I would create a new blog post based on a comment I received on a different post. It was in response to whether or not we should allow kids to play with toy guns and knives. I said I didn’t have a problem with it as kids who play with toy guns don’t grow up to be killers.

A Complete Waste of Life at Virginia Tech
The attack on America’s schools continues. A lot of people have already reported this and if you haven’t heard by now then you live in a closet somewhere. The shootings at Virginia Tech yesterday killed 32 people.
The trend continues which first seemed to kick off back at the Columbine High School Massacre. Most likely if you are reading this you are a parent and probably have children in school or soon to be. I hate to sound so pessimistic but the realities of shootings like this seem to be the newest trend… maybe in the last 7 or 8 years. …read more
