Columbus Day Books and Activities
Columbus Day is celebrated on October, 13 this year to commemorate the landing of Christopher Columbus, who landed in America in 1492.
Surprisingly, as important as this date is to the discovery of our fine country, there are very few children’s books about Columbus Day. In fact, I can find more about Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day than I can about Columbus Day.
