• This technique isn’t for fabric, but it’s so cool that I couldn’t help posting it!  Matsutake has come up with a way of transferring ink jet images onto wood – using only Mod Podge and white glue.

• If you want to get a head start on your Christmas crafting, check out this gorgeous strip-pieced stocking from the Purl Bee.  They’ve got a great how-to that takes the stress out of hand-quilting.

Then you’re definitely going to want to check out Interweave’s virtual studio tour to celebrate the release of theirFall 2009 Studios magazine!

There are a few steps you’ve got to follow to take part…

1. Take photos of your studio – they want to see where you’re creative, so it doesn’t matter if it’s a full studio or just a corner of the kitchen table.
2. Post the photos (or even a video tour) on your blog or website by October 3rd.  Make sure to give us a little guided tour.  You’ve also got to post the cover of the Fall 2009 Studios magazine as well, linked to their website.
