According to an article in The New York Times earlier this week, scientists have discovered that certain fish and shellfish in the Baltic Sea are swimming around with a neurotoxin called BMAA inside of them. Researchers will need more time to figure out if the toxin could give fish-eating humans a tummy ache – or worse.
