Did you catch the first episode of The Next Iron Chef Season 2 yesterday? If not, stop reading now, because I would hate to inadvertently spoil anything for you.
This season, the show, hosted by Alton Brown, will be judged by Anya Fernald, Donatella Arapai, and Jeffrey Steingarten (my least favorite Iron Chef judge). Fans of the Iron Chefshow will be familiar with Arapai and Steingarten, but I was unfamiliar with Frenald until last night. I liked her. She sounds knowledgeable, but she remains polite. Spice Smuggler Gets A Second Chance

I’m a big Food Network fan. One of my favorite shows this season was The Next Food Network Star. Jeffrey Saad was a favorite from the first episode. I appreciated both his up-beat personality and his cooking expertise.
Jeffrey ended up being first runner-up, losing to Mellisa d’Arabian. Bob Tuschman, a Food Network big-wig and one of the judges on The Next Food Network Star, announced via his blog that the network has developed some web-only versions of Jeffrey’s show, the Spice Smuggler. The Tamra Davis Cooking Show

Today, in my GOOP newsletter, I found an online cooking show called the Tamra Davis Cooking Show. Tamra Davis is a filmaker and a busy mom.
This is a great resource for people who eat meatless (many meat-free recipes) or are just looking for a way to feed their families creative healthy meals. The shows are fun to watch as they follow Tamra shopping with her cute little boys, or doing yoga while one of the boys keeps climbing on her, and then there’s the food. Yum.
