I live down the street from a Target. I’m usually down there at least once a week picking up essentials like Gatorade for my (sick) son, Max, or mascara for my oldest daughter, Bailey. My sister lives in a town with a Super Target. My Target could fit in less than half of her store.
Target now carries a line of Kitchen Essentials from Calphalon, called Aspire. You can purchase the non-stick pieces separately or outfit your kitchen with a 10 piece cook set.
One of the pieces that is currently on my wish list include the 11 inch Square Grill pan. I’m …read more

Later, after my divorce, I inherited a set of my Great Grandma’s pans when she died. I love using my Grandma’s things, I love thinking about her in the kitchen, making delicious meals for the family. …read more

My BFF in the kitchen is an all-around non-stick sauté pan that is big enough to cook fried chicken, dumplings, fast stir-fry, fried rice, fried eggs, frittatas, spaghetti or pasta sauces, tossing pasta in, and pretty much anything that needs to be sautéed. If there is one cookware you need to get for your kitchen especially when you’re just starting to learn how to cook, an all-around pan is one of top things you should invest on.

Confession Time: I have a China Fetish.
Okay, okay, I admit it. I have a China fetish. Not China the country. Tableware! I can go shopping and pass by all the women’s apparel and cosmetics stores without feeling like I missed anything, but please oh please, don’t make me leave without letting me sneak a peek at the china and tableware stores. I am such a sucker for those things and can rarely get out of even places like Wal-mart and Target without some geometric plate in tow. They are just so lovely and clean looking, with those straight lines and, …read more
