Now that we’re getting close to full-fledged corn on the cob season, I’m sure that most of us know someone who can’t eat it that way. It’s almost BBQ/grilling time but I’m sure some of you have already been airing out the grill outside. What’s one of the best side dishes during the Summer? Corn On The Cob, of course. I have a parmesan cheese topping to perk up your corn that everyone will love.
INGREDIENTS :
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
sprinkle of lemon & pepper seasoning
sprinkle of red pepper flakes
sprinkle of Italian seasoning
4-5 corn on the cob, boiled
butter for spreading

Here are a couple of my favorite summer meals from the garden:
Green beans and new potatoes
BLT’s with fresh Beefsteak tomatoes, and greens from the garden.
Corn on the cob, tomato sandwiches, and fried squash, are a fabulous combination, who …read more
Corn on the cob season
As the northern hemisphere creeps towards autumn, corn is coming into season. It has been available here in Switzerland for a few weeks, but may come earlier or later depending on your location. Sweet, fresh corn is a real treat, and so delicious that it can be eaten completely on its own.
Corn always reminds me of the farm country where my grandma lives. In front of many fields you will find roadside stands piled high with fresh corn and a cash box, and a sign reading something ridiculous like “12 ears for 25 cents”. Unfortunately we pay a lot more …read more
