Batty Dog Costume

Halloween is still a week and a half away so there’s just enough time to put in an order for a cute dog costume!

These adorable bat wings are from Barker & Meowsky for just under $20.
Made from black chintz, the wings fit around the back of your pup securely with black cording that ties under the chest. Available in two sizes, with the small fitting dogs up to twenty pounds, and the large fitting dogs up to 45 pounds, though the size says the larger wings can be tinkered with at home to fit larger dogs.

Halloween Pets Photo Contest

One of my favorite pet-related sites online, Petfinder.com, is sponsoring a Halloween photo contest especially for pets!

The Howl-O-Ween Photo Contest is searching for the best costumes in three categories: 1) Do It Yourself, 2) Celebrity Look-a-Likes and 3) Pets & Kids.
Photos can be submitted to petfinder.com/halloween until October 31, and the winner will receive a Bissell SpotBot Pet Compact Deep Cleaner and cleaning formula. (Check out my review of it here!)
You can check out the entries that have already been submitted here, and Petfinder has even provided a few tips to get your creativity flowing~

The outfit is fully lined and made from cotton. It features little tuxedo tails, a matching removable bowtie collar and top hat.

Costumes Come A-Recycling

It has been your family’s tradition to get all dressed up for Halloween. Well, all dressed up ghastly. But the point here is you take the effort to get yourself a costume during this time of year. Most of the time, you would go with your kids to the malls and shop around for things that you would be using for your various costumes. However, what do you do with those costumes after? You stock them up in your attic for a real long while until you forget them? You throw them out?
Well, in case you did not know, you can …read more
