World TB Day

If you thought Tuberculosis (TB) is something you no longer can get, think again. The disease is still deadly and according to one article, “killing millions worldwide.” In the state of Indiana alone, there were 118 active cases last year.

Tuesday, March 24th, is World TB Day. The day was chosen in honor of German physician Robert Koch, who first discovered the “bacteria causing TB” in 1882.

Sick Daze.

If you’re running a business at home as I do, you can’t pick up the phone and call in sick (or mentally challenged). You have to drag your sorry, sick behind into your office and try to get work done.
