Homemade Tile Backsplash

I have a small spot above my stove that really bugs me. For a while now I’ve been wanting to hang something up there and couldn’t figure out what. Then, I came across some Currier & Ives tiles (which you can see I got very cheaply at 25 cents each!) and a small wooden tray (which I picked up for 50 cents at a rummage sale). Great Summer Project for Little Organizers

I debated over posting this project here at Declutter It, or at another blog of mine, Tree Hugging Family. Because the project has a recycling slant, Tree Hugging Family won.
However, I did think that with summer coming, keeping the kids happy and busy is priority, and this project is awesome, (and inexpensive) so I thought I’d still mention it here.
