Craft Room Inspiration from ScrapStampSew

Love the shelves of ScrapStampSew’s craft room. Yes, it’s a tad messy but I prefer it creatively disorganized like this rather than freakishly tidy!
This room looks like it’s ‘lived in’ and that someone is actually using it! I used to have a craft room but it’s been taken over by my Husband as his home office. I still have a desk there but I haven’t done much crafting there. My craft area is tidier than it usually is I had a big clean up the other week. Maybe I’ll be brave enough to take a photo and share here. LOL

This week’s featured craft room is brought to you by ShabbyScrap. I love the shabby chic and french inspired design of this craft room.
Imagine working in this craft room. It’s so pretty and delicate looking. You can have your own French-inspired craft room too. Based from this photo, all you need is to decorate your craft room in white and pastel colors.
Craft Room for Jewelry Crafters

I love Flickr. You get inspiration for almost anything under the sun. This time, I’d like to feature a craft room for jewelry crafters! If you have a corner in your house, perhaps you can set it up the way Simone Walsh set up hers in the Blue Mountains!
As far as I can see, the must haves in a craft room for jewelry crafters include:
A lamp
a table (obviously!) to work on
Storage jars for your bids and gemstones
A big container for your tools like pliers and such.
As far as I can in the photos above, Simone also has a rice or …read more
Organizing Your Craft Space

I have been eyeing this IKEA shelf unit for so long now…too bad it’s not available in New Zealand. I’d love for a craft room organizer like the one that Elsie has.
Don’t you think this is a great way to organize all your craft knick knacks in a way that is pleasing to the eye too! I like the way Elsie used ordinary pails to store the small craft embellishments. I’d prefer to buy the white shelf myself but still, I believe it’s a great way to have your craft things organized.
Love it!

Craft Room Inspiration

If you are fortunate enough to have a spare room to use as your space for your creative stuff, the next challenge is…how do you make the room a haven for your creative juices to flow?
Perhaps Amber’s craft room above will give you some ideas on what to do on your own creative space!
I especially love what Amber did to her embellishment, hanging them like that ala clothesline style with cute pegs.
I also like the green and blue color combination….so relaxing…I’d go for a more vintage-y effect if I had a choice though.
You’ve got tons of books? The side-by-side bookshelf …read more

I’m pleased to feature Cindy Shipman’s Scrapbook room this week. You’d have to agree with me, her room is simply divine and I love the color combination — pink and green! It reminds me of the pink and green wedding theme that I featured at Our One Heart.
Love, love, love the colour and Cindy’s stash…drool worthy!
If you look at the top left part of the photo, you’d see an old bird cage that Cindy is now using to hold her silk flowers.
More photos after the jump!

A video tour of Kelli Crowe’s Scrapbook Room. Kelli is one of the Garden Designers at Two Peas in a Bucket. All I can say is she’s got a gorgeous scrapbook room.
It shows you what organizer she used to separate her embellishment and the lovely ideas board. I love that one! I want one too!
I love it!

This week’s featured scrapbook studio to draw inspiration from is from Keightyj in Flickr. I was drawn to her use of ‘antique’ style cabinets to store her scrapbook materials and tools. I love, love vintage!
