Another interesting passtime for kids who suddenly find themselves with nothing to do and that seems to happen quite a bit from what I hear. Hand them a bag of balloons and suggest that they create something unusual and that there just might be a prize for the best piece of art. That should keep them busy for hours.
Of course, you won’t be able to pick a winner and will have prizes for everyone. The dollar store is great for affordable prizes, but you probably already knew that!
