I haven’t made hamburger soup in ages, but today I had some hamburger leftover and suddenly thought my old recipe. I had to do it from memory, but this time I used the crockpot. It may be like the one you make, but if not, perhaps you’d like to give it a try.
1 pound of hamburger, cooked and drained
1 onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1 can of beef broth
1 can of diced tomatoes (including juice)
1/2 c. water

All Hail the Crockpot

I don’t know about you, but without my crockpot there are some days when my family would not have a hot meal. I’ve used my crockpot for a long time, and when I was single it was nice to come home to hot dinner just waiting for me. Now that I cook for my husband and mom, I especially appreciate the ability to “cook” dinner without having to do more than just throw a few items into the machine.
