Should Kids have Summer Curfews?

Tonight my oldest and I waited inside the car while daddy and the girls shopped. We just sat there, with the windows rolled down and chatted about the upcoming summer break. Of course we did hit a topic that I think all parents and children have a lot of opinion on.

Setting A Curfew For You’re Teen
When I was in high school I had to be home and in bed by 10pm on school nights and midnight on other nights. I hated my curfew. Especially after I started driving. In my senior year there were a lot of parties and most of my friends could stay out until at least 1am. But not me. It meant I had to drive myself or make all my friends leave early. It sucked.

There has been a lot of talk on the internet about the MySpace mom. The Today show spoke to both Lori Drew’s attorney and Megan’s mom, Tina Meier. It was very interesting to hear her lawyer speak about her innocence because from what I understand she admitted to police that she set up the MySpace account. Over at BlogHer there is a great article on the indictment as well. It’s interesting to see what other bloggers think of the charges. It sounds like we are all in agreement that it’s about time she faces charges.
