I remember telling people that one of the best parts of being a stay at home dad is the fact you can do home projects and do things yourself. Having a child needing to go through surgery can be a difficult time for the family. Who is it really the hardest on though? The parents or the child?
Well, Dennis O’rourke, posted an article up a week ago at Dad Center called Preparing Your Child for Surgery. Dennis makes a list of suggestions:

Today is the launch of a new online dad magazine called Dad Center. The founder of the magazine, Don Leiser, is also the founder of the well known stay at home dad forum at dadstayshome.com.
