Sometimes I spend time in the evening browsing through the archives of other dad blogs. If you look around and spend some time reading through older posts you can find some real good content. But Dad There Are Monsters Under My Bed

I remember shortly after we watched (several times) Monsters, Inc. my kids had a surge in fear that monsters were in their closet, under their bed, or in some dark corner of the house. I reassured them that there were no such things as monsters and that it was just a movie. It was the straight forward approach. They seemed to calm down a bit but there were times that we had to take a different approach. We made up silly responses like, humans taste awful to them.
