Women know what they are looking for in men. They know what works and what doesn’t and what is attractive and what is not. So why does it seem like there are so many men out there that are going about everything completely wrong? Why are good guys always getting rejected?
The Wing Girl Method founder Marni Kinrys created her dating coaching company to help men improve their skills and find success in dating. Men are always trying to help men find women, but it is so much more helpful to get dating advice from a woman! I recently conducted an …read more

More online dating news…… New Online Dating services spring up all the time. Here are a few that I thought might be of interest to readers.
*Date A Cougar. The first thing I have to say about this site is that the front page features a pretty woman in lingerie. Not very subtle, really kind of icky, but it’s billed as “the #1 Cougar Dating Community on the net.” Date A Cougar is a paid service, but there is a free 3 day intro available. This service is for older woman/younger man couples.
*Smooch.com. Smooch is a free service. Free to put …read more
My eHarmony Experience

I’ve done several online dating sites in my life, with varied success. I had met my last boyfriend on Lavalife and had a pretty good experience on it about 4 years ago, so when I saw all the cheesy eHarmony commercials with the happy couples, I decided to give it a try. It was the first time I had to pay to use an online dating service so I was expecting some decent results. I tried their 3 month option, for $120.
At first it seemed pretty neat. How eHarmony works, is they make you take a personality test, where they …read more
Using Biodata To Find a Spouse

I’m fascinated by the way different cultures approach dating and marriage. Traditions like arranged marriages used to sound crazy to me, but as I mature, I’ve developed a more open mind. I’ve realized that just because we believe we know best here in the West, that doesn’t mean that we actually do know best. Where did we get that anyway? That belief that our way of doing things is superior? In the case of dating, it’s sure not backed up by measurable statistics like divorce rates.
Today I found something about using biodata to find a potential mate. Biodata is essentially …read more

Wouldn’t it be a great idea to subject yourself to a Dating Detox? Parship.co.uk, UK’s leading matchmaker, suggests a healthy look on oneself that will lead to a cleansing process that will kickstart a healthier dating outlook.
The idea behind the dating detox on girls’ singles website parship.co.uk is to identify the problems holding you back from meeting a man.
By asking in-depth questions about your personality and dating history, it identifies what your dating toxins are — such as lacking in confidence, being too fussy or even too desperate. (Source: thesun.co.uk)

If you’re an ultra-smart singleton and good at taking tests, a new website could be the answer.
The social networking site directed towards highly intelligent people with a knack for deciphering complex visual patterns, which started in Denmark, has now expanded to Canada and the United States.
Potential candidates have to pass an online test to prove they have an IQ of 115 or higher. The score places them in the top 15 percent of the population for intelligence, said Copenhagen-based Trine Jensen, the founder of IntelligentPeople.com.
I have to wonder if this was inspired by Beauty …read more
Dating Site eHarmony.Com Sued for Discrimination Against Homosexuals

Lisa Miller writes over at Newsweek.com about eHarmony.com’s troubles. The dating website, which boasts over 20 million users, is facing a class-action lawsuit over its alleged discrimination against gays and lesbians.
Personally, I think the suit is baseless. To be clear I have nothing against homosexuals. Part of the beauty of the web is that there’s a website to cater to any need. I just wonder why the plaintiffs in the eHarmony.com case didn’t just avoid the site and go to Chemistry.com, a competitor.

Ashley Madison caters to men and women who are already in relationships and are looking for something more. Ashley Madison is the largest dating service of its kind. Having made more then $20-million since 2002 by helping people cheat on their spouses, A.M. has carved out a hefty niche market. Users buy credits ($55/100 credits) and then each e-mail they initiate costs five credits. Their tag line gets right to the point: “Life is short, have an affair.” “Monogamy is not in our DNA,” says Chief Operating Officer Noel Biderman. “Women come to a service like Ashley Madison because …read more
Getting Laid thru Online Dating Sites

In a private survey, some 32-year-old guy from Chicago decided to test several dating sites to see which ones get him laid most often.
It’s true! And here are the results
Ladies, if you’re in or around the Chicago area and listed on any of those sites, I certainly hope you’ll develop a little more sense about ya and not end up a statistic.
I do have to admit, I’m a little surprised eHarmony is on this list.
