Here&#8217;s a good idea from Jennifer at RiverWired &#8212; have your old home deconstructed instead of bulldozed over.
Why? Then you have all the goodies to sell or keep. It&#8217;s what makes the junk world go round after all! Check out the full post, Home Deconstruction Basics.
So, maybe your house isn&#8217;t as big as the one above, but I thought you&#8217;d enjoy the photo of an old staff house for a children&#8217;s hospital. It was eventually demolished according to the notes at flickr.
