Brandi Strickland’s Collages

I love Brandi Strickland’s work, especially the provocative combination of photography and collage that she comes up with!  Brandi only graduated from art school a few years ago, but she has managed to catch the eye of many reviewers.  Brandi says that she enjoys exploring the connection between nature and technology, and I must say I enjoy her explorations too!
Besides her etsy shop (linked above), you can also find her work on her own website, Brandi Strickland.

I used a number of old pieces of text to create a background for one of my shots. I also stamped all of our initials around the background, using antique letter blocks (M,C,N,and D for Mike, Cyndi, Nate, and Dani, even though Nate was still in Guatemala at the time!).

Just like with the last series on image transfers, I really hope that you’ll send me pictures to share with everyone of the work you’ve done that incorporates these techniques. And please use the comments section below to share your own tips!
