Is Stem Cell Research Beneficial To Diabetics?

Stem cell research has caused much controversy over the last few years. Is it a scientific point of contention, a political battle or a religious debate? Different people have very different views on the topic. If my parents taught me one lesson as a youngin’, it is not to talk about religion or politics.
Diabetes is not usually a controversial topic and does not raise eyebrows on a regular basis. But did you know that stem cell research is linked to the disease? Developments of new treatments and therapies could be on the horizon.

The American Diabetes Alert Day Is March 27th

As Rob had previously mentioned, the American Diabetes Alert day is Tuesday, March 27, 2007. This day is used to spread awareness about diabetes and its seriousness. Do you know if you are at risk for diabetes? Take the American Diabetes Risk Test to find out.
