Walt Disney Family Museum to Open October 1st

Fans of all things Disney will soon have a new museum to check out – The Walt Disney Family Museum, set to open October 1st, 2009 in San Francisco. The museum will be contained in three historic buildings in the Presidio, a former barracks, a former gymnasium, and a former storage facility. These buildings will include 10 galleries dedicated to chronicling the life of Walt Disney.

Disney’s Canine Casting Call

Do you think your dog has what it takes to be a superstar? Disney wants to find out too!
They’re currently conducting a casting call for an upcoming movie titled “Buddies.”
Auditions will be split up into two “runways” — a Beverly Hills Chihuahua line for the posh pups and a Bolt line for those whose talents and tricks are many.
There are only four casting calls in four cities — check to see if you’re close to one! Limited sign-ups begin at noon local time and are run on a first come, first served basis:

AED’s everywhere at Disney!

We are currently on a family vacation at Disneyworld and I noticed today that there were so many AED machines very visibly labeled all over the park. How cool is that?
I think that this will help save so many and having them identified in the park brochures is another plus. Just my hearty observation for the day. By the way, the kids loved Hollywood studios!
