Crazy Quilts
This type of quilt has always fascinated me, ever since I saw my aunt and some of her friends making them. One of Auntie’s finished quilts draped over the back of the horsehair sofa in their parlor. (It was a parlor, not living room in those days of my childhood.)
Jen, at Domestik Goddess, lets us know about Crazy Quilting Revisited, where she links to What If: CQR where you’ll find a number of innovative crazy quilting styles.
Do you do crazy quilting? There a many ways you can incorporate the crazy quilting techniques into your quilting world.

Heart patterns for Valentine’s Day. Even though you won’t have time to make it this year’s occasion, keep this project in mind for the future and for giving as a gift.
Jen at Domestik Goddess has a delightful “Mosaic Hearts” free pattern on her blog. Included is a video, by creator Beth Lancaster, to guide you with the construction. This is a lovely pattern and you’ll find suggestions for variations.
Also, there are other free patterns at Domestik Goddess for a baby quilt, Crossing Paths quilt, and others.
ENJOY!
