My husband and I are so excited for this news! ‘Three Sheets,’ an “international travelogue/pub-crawl television series” hosted by comedian Zane Lamprey, has been rescued from the network graveyard by Fine Living Network.
Originally airing on MOJO HD (which was only available via certain cable and satellite providers), Three Sheets was dropped last December when MOJO itself was canceled.
The irreverent 30-minute program featured Lamprey jetting around the globe, settling in everything from hole-in-the-wall pubs and taverns to swanky wine bars to beach-side huts. He starts out with a quick lesson about the area he’s in and what drink they’re best …read more
The Hot Sun And Alcohol

Since b5 Media’s Science and Health Channel’s Theme Day is focusing on the sun, I find myself considering just how the heck will I write something related to the 12 Steps and the sun?
Well, I suppose I could talk about powerlessness – the sun’s gonna rise and set today and there isn’t a darn thing I can do about it
Or, perhaps I could address those who would attempt to help a drunk this summer – a drunk who hasn’t considered or paid attention to the fact that consuming alcohol in the sun can kill you faster.

From pg. 30 in The Big Book we read “it is not surprising that our drinking careers have been characterized by countless vain attempts to prove we could drink like other people. The idea that somehow, someday he will control and enjoy his drinking is the great obsession of every abnormal drinker. The persistence of this illusion is astonishing. Many pursue it into the gates of insanity or death.”
We learned that we had to fully concede to our innermost selves that we were alcoholics. This is the first step in recovery.
