Topic: driving while high

Yesterday, I wrote about Amanda Bynes‘ recent sketchy behavior, which includes a DUI, several hit-and-runs, and smoking weed while driving (on a suspended license, no less). I was surprised at the comments we got on our Facebook page, many of which seem to suggest that marijuana isn’t a cause for concern. And while I was using the example of Amanda driving while stoned as just one part of an alarming whole, I see where those commenters were coming from: marijuana use doesn’t necessarily mean that Amanda has a substance abuse problem. So even though marijuana may not be the worst drug you can use, that’s certainly no cause to excuse getting behind the wheel of a car while stoned. More »
