Indian Eagle Adopts Baby Chicks

There have been a lot of inter-species fostering stories in the news lately, and this one is definitely one of the more bizarre ones!
An eagle in Calicut, India, has adopted some baby chickens, which would normally be dinner to the bird of prey!
As the video describes, the eagle had been found injured and was taken home by a local vendor. To the vendor’s surprise, the eagle decided to take on a job of its own, becoming a foster parent to some eggs belonging to the man’s chickens.
When the eggs eventually hatched the eagle took over mothering duties.
