Easter Card Basket

Instead of sending Easter cards this year, why not send a greeting that is part card, part Easter basket!
This project is very easy. You will need cardstock in white, an Easter stamp (any kind), craft scissors, Easter grass, a few jelly beans, and a baggie with tie. Make your stamp on a piece of cardstock, then cut around it with the craft scissors. Put the piece of cardstock in the baggie along with a few bits of Easter grass and a couple jelly beans. Thursday Tutorial – Easy Easter Bunny

The kids and I saw some gorgeous wood heart decorations the other day and thought we’d just love an Easter bunny that looked similar. However, I am not very good with saws and the end result would just be scary. I decided to make a faux wood bunny decoration using a piece of cereal box cardboard instead. (To make a sturdier bunny, simply look for tagboard or glue several layers of cardboard together.)

Slightly Creepy Easter Bunny Softie Tuitorial

Hmm. I guess I should have looked twice at the stripes while I was cutting my Easter bunny softie out. The brown stripe on his face makes my fearless brother a bit nervous. He mentioned man eating and bunny in the same sentence. Because it is meant for one of them, I am waiting for a final verdict from the littles. If they think it is scary, too, I may have to make another bunny out of a different felted sweater that I have sitting around instead.
