Remember the paper chains we used to make for Christmas? Red, green and white loops of paper stapled into interlocking rings to make chains that wrapped around the room? Well, the kids had so much fun making them for Christmas that we thought we’d like to make them for Easter, too. Want to get in on the fun?

I am trying not to buy any new decorations that are the least bit fragile because it is kind of a waste of money with all the little hands and paws in my household. (Agghh! Why doesn’t the little chick have eyes anymore? And where’s his beak? Why is the Easter bunny in the kittens’ cage?)

Am I the only person who heads right to new holiday displays that family and friends have set up when I visit their homes? This sweet Easter corner would last about thirty seconds at my house because the little guys would have to start pushing the adorable little wooden Easter train around.

If you’re on the hunt for some tasteful Easter gifts or decor, consider making your choices fair trade. Fair Trade is applied to products when fair prices are paid to workers in developing countries. Often, the products are produced in a sustainable manner, free from harmful chemicals.
