I have a great way to spice up your child’s bedroom. Wooden wall monograms are simple to make and they give the kids a feeling of pride to see their initials up on the wall. It makes them feel as though they have a place that is just for them. Even if they share a bedroom with a sibling, you can still make the room special by placing the monograms directly over their bed.

I love trying out new techniques, playing with patterns and having as much fun as I can with fabric as possible!
I first saw Creature Comforts’ great tutorial for making charming little roses from paper a while back, but I didn’t think about making them in fabric when I first saw it. After all, most fabric won’t behave like paper will.
Felt however… It’s sturdy, won’t fray and comes in a rainbow of colors!
