Recycled Eco-Furniture for Kids

notNeutral and Loll DESIGNS of Minnesota recently teamed up to create an outdoor furniture line for the kiddos called BBO2. The line consists of the BBO2 Chair and the BBO2 Table, and is made for long use and sustainability.
Loll sustainable furniture is fashioned with superior grade recycled high density polyethylene (HDPE). This doesn’t look all recycled and blah though, this HDPE has an attractive aesthetic along with high grade stainless steel fasteners. Bonnie Plant Farm has been offering goods for beginning and experienced gardeners since 1918, but in 2008 they went green in order to do their part to help conserve the environment. Bonnie Plant Farm’s CEO notes that their green effort includes an increased use of mainly biodegradable peat growing cups, a simple step that most plant companies should take, as millions of plastic potting cups hit the landfill annually.

A new group in San Francisco has launched a website dedicated to activities that can help teens stay green. The group, Teens Turning Green is an expanded organization (from the Bay Area teen organization, formerly known as Teens for Safe Cosmetics) that’s now focused not only on cosmetics, but a whole life green living approach.
