Congratulations to Elisabeth Hasselbeck and her husband Tim! Elisabeth delivered a baby boy yesterday, just a few days early of her original due date. This is the couple’s third child.
The new baby is named Isaiah Timothy “at 2:49 p.m. Sunday in New York City.” This is the second boy for the couple. They have another boy, Taylor Thomas, who is almost two years old, and a daughter, Grace Elisabeth.
Elisabeth and Tim, a former NFL quarterback, have been married for seven years. Elisabeth also has a famous brother-in-law in Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. …read more
Three Kids Means You’re Outnumbered

I caught this snippet about Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who is soon to have her third child. She says being pregnant when you’ve already had two kids is entirely different than when you are pregnant for the first time. “For the first pregnancy, you’re a pregnant goddess and everyone is running around giving you water,” she said. “But the third time around, you’re just lucky to have a prenatal pill by the end of day!”
Not only that, but I can imagine that once you have that third child, things in the household change dramatically as well. From every friend …read more
Elisabeth’s Right On

I know you thought you’d never hear these words from me, but I agree with Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s take on the banning of tag and other “aggressive” playground play.
One of the lessons I’ve taken from Randy Pausch, the man who’s teaching us how to boldly face down death by focusing on life with The Last Lecture, is: If you wait long enough everyone will show you they have positive value.
I don’t usually agree with Elisabeth. But, on the issue of aggresive playground play, including tag which has recently been outlawed at recess in many areas – I 100% agree.
Why are we …read more
5 stupid things Elisabeth said on Jezabel.com

Imagine if someone put the 5 stupidest things you said on a tape and played them over and over for two weeks, Barack Obama said to Elisabeth Hasselbeck in reference to his opinion of his Church of Christ Pastor this morning on The View. Oh please – someone do this! I’m BEGGING someone to compile the stupidest, most bigoted and hateful things Elisabeth – or her pastor – has said and post it on You Tube. The only hard part about this exercise would be choosing only 5 – perhaps it would be an easier challenge if we allowed 50 or maybe …read more
Elisabeth Is Back, I Missed Her

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is back on The View after a 2 month maternity leave.
I missed her.
There, I said it.
I loath her politics, I’m jealous of her position and stunning beauty and ease in which she makes her way in the world effortlessly.
But, The View is not The View without her. The guests are boring because they are not inflammatory and Republican enough. It’s the different opinions that make The View exciting.
Welcome Back Elisabeth.
Wait . . . she opened her mouth and now I hate her again. She just has that effect on me.
Elisabeth Leaving The View

Psych.
Elisabeth’s only going on maternity leave. Somehow hubby Tim is moving to Arizona and she’s taking maternity leave and then coming back to New York? Commuter family. Is that what “Conservative Republicans” do now?
Did you see how disrespectful Elisabeth was to Nancy Pelosi, the first female Speaker of the House?
Maybe Barbara had a chat with her about that, because she wasn’t quite so rude to Hillary Clinton, future President of the United States.
Switching topics, but only kind of, I suppose it was naive of me to hope that Americans could have a woman run for President without sexually exploiting her left and …read more
Rosie Quit, Elisabeth Stays

Wow, Rosie quit after the argument I guess. I would have written about it before, but I didn’t hear about it until I had gone for my Memorial Day weekend away (I time stamped my blogs, just as they prerecorded The View. But, I’m back now.)
I guess they have prerecorded two weeks of The View, which is a little odd as I watch Rosie and Elisabeth celebrate Elisabeth’s 30th birthday.
I’m disappointed Rosie left. I don’t really know what to think about it. I checked out the Q&A on Rosie.com and she’s basically saying she felt that the producers created the blow …read more
