So, if you feel like sharing seven weird things about yourself, go right ahead. Please use the comments section below or leave a link there. If you feel more comfortable just write them in your journal.
Thing 1: I am 42 years old, but still feel about 15 most of the time.

Thing 3: I can bend the top joints of my fingers without having to bend the other joints.

Thing 4: I have two teens & a toddler. Not too many people can say that, especially with the same partner.

Thing 5: I am currently obsessed with making jewellery & have even sold some of it.

Thing 6: My mum taught me to read, by reading me bedtime stories, by the time I was 4.

Thing 7: I have a weird and wicked sense of humour; well, so my kids tell me.

Now it’s your turn.

This afternoon I met up with a good writing friend, Elizabeth Bezant. We spent time chatting about our lives, as women do, but also about our writing. It’s one thing I find invaluable when it comes to being a woman, mother and writer. I need someone who is like minded enough to bounce ideas off, have those little moans with and to share personal triumphs. She also gave me a little gift. I am now the proud owner of a lovely colourful journal with only twenty pages, but what lovely textured pages they are. I just need to think of something fun to do with this sweet little gift.

The reason for the gift was so I could take a look at some of the items now available on the Life’s Inspirational Moments store. I also had a first hand look at the Brain Sparking photo trigger cards. These are excellent journal writing prompts. Don’t forget Life’s Inspirational Moments are still looking for more stories about dementia & age-related memory loss. Apart from the little gift today, I’m not making anything out of mentioning these journal writing tools.

I was surprised to receive the Rockin’ Girl Blogger Award on Saturday. My good friend Elizabeth Bezant bestowed this honour on me. After a little investigation I’ve discovered this fabulous idea began with Roberta Ferguson.
So, next is the passing on part. I need to pick some girls to give this award to. Ok, here goes:
Shai Coggins who opened the door to online creativity for me
Cyndi Lavin for her inspiring & creative blogs; Layer Upon Layer, Bead Arts, Mozel Tov
Anne Wayman has The Golden Pencil, excellent for freelance writers
