Second Swine Flu Death in U.S.

Just as health officials have started to downgrade the dangers of Swine Flu, another death has been reported in Texas. This time, the victim was a U.S. resident who reportedly also had “chronic underlying health conditions.”

According to the CDC, there are “403 confirmed cases of the swine flu in the United States” in 38 of the 50 states. Most of them are in New York, Illinois, California, and Texas. First Swine Flu Death in US Reported

The Swine Flu has claimed its first U.S. death. A 23-month old boy has died in Texas. President Obama has suggested that schools in the area may close on Wednesday for a temporary basis if they have had a confirmed case of swine flu. However, right now officials are watching the situation.

Other countries, including Canada, Austria, New Zealand, Israel, Spain, Britain, and Germany have reported cases of the disease. With this death, the United States now joins Mexico as the only countries thus far with Swine Flu deaths.

Over 60% of heart disease housed in India in the next 2 years

Second to diabetes, heart disease seems to be on the horizon for India. They are estimating that India will account for 60% of all heart disease cases worldwide within the next 2 years.
As India becomes more developed so does it’s social habits…
The risk factors in India were the same as elsewhere and included tobacco use, high levels of lipids in the blood due to diets rich in saturated fat, and hypertension, the study said.
