I’m not sure if you know anything about Eric Maisel, but just in case you don’t, you need to check him out. I first discovered his books on creativity a few years ago and have taken them out of my local library several times since. His new website is really worth looking at. There are links to podcasts, MP3 downloads, his blogs and more.Hooking up with this man is a must for every creative person, no matter if you’re a writer or any kind of artist.

Exploring Creativity

Another aspect of journal writing I really enjoy is how I have room to explore my own creativity. Taking this seriously, you can read books by Julia Cameron, such as Artist’s Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity, and Eric Maisel, such as Fearless Creating (Inner Workbook.) Less seriously you can read anything by SARK, such as Fearless Creating (Inner Workbook.).
