Hello!
Did y’all know the winners of the Facing Us 2008 Music Contest were announced? If so, shame on you for not telling me (I’m a bit behind, apparently), and if not, well, obviously you’re not alone.
For those of you just tuning in, the Facing Us 2008 Music Contest was sponsored by the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance and Dave’s Spark with the intention of recognizing and embracing “the creative spark of so many individuals who live with mood disorders.”

DBSA Announces Top 16 Facing Us 2008 Music Contest Finalists

Remember back in July when I told you about the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance’s (DBSA) Facing Us 2008 Music Contest?
Well, the DBSA has announced the Top 16 finalists!
Voting is now open, so head on over to listen to these artists and vote for your favorite one.
I haven’t gotten a chance to listen yet, but I hope to at least start on the list at some point today. I absolutely love listening to new music and new artists, and with this being a contest with such a great point, I’m even more excited!

Saturday Sanity: Slow Week For Mental Health Notes, But Not For Mental Health News

Boy, when I fall into a blogging slump, I really fall into a blogging slump, huh? This is the second week in a row I’ve not offered up more than one post a day here at Mental Health Notes and, honestly, that blows.
However, in my defense (what little bit of defense I have), I have been dealing with work-related matters, surprise visitors, and doing some housekeeping here at MHN, which includes putting an excellent editorial calendar together for the coming weeks here at MHN.
