Reverse Trick-or-Treating sounds, well, a little tricky, but really it’s an amazing campaign to help stop all sorts of social and economical ills around the world, as well as encourage kids and adults to learn about the issues now.
The Reverse Trick-or-Treating campaign launched three years ago by Global Exchange in order to create awareness of the pervasive problem of child labor, forced labor and trafficking in the cocoa fields. Gifts with Humanity is a site that belongs to the Fair Trade Federation. Members are committed to providing fair wages and good employment opportunities to economically disadvantaged artisans and farmers worldwide. So you can feel good about purchasing artisan-made pieces from this site.
I found lots of clever items in the Home Decor section, including the wonderful tin lion shown below. This piece comes from Zimbabwe, where there are no lions. Other gift categories include wearables, stationery, dining, and instruments.

For people serious about their tea: I just found out about this company last month. They won Best Black Tea and Best Green Tea in the Commercially Brewed Category at the Annual World Tea Expo in April 2006. From the Press Release:
