That’s how captivated I was with the Fairy Chronicles books, written by J.H. Sweet. The adventures take place in the real world, but introduces us to fairies, brownies and goblins who live all around us. Each book tells of an ordinary girl who discovers magical fairy power. She gets to know other 9-year olds who are secretly fairies themselves, and they go on adventures to protect nature and do good. J.H. Sweet provides enough details to whet the imagination and inject humor. Young girls will totally relate to the main characters.
