I love art. Crazy, expressive, wild art. Our house is filled with folk art and comical pieces. We used to buy all sorts of paintings and sculptures in the days before Truman. Now we use that money to buy things like groceries and Timberland sandals and jeans that don’t hold up in the knees.

Family Portrait

Today my family finally got around to posing for a family portrait at a local photographer. They had a deal to lure us in, but we didn’t mind. It’s been a long time since we posed for a family photo. As we sat getting ordered to sit this way, lean in more here, move our heads that way, I realised why genealogists love these photos so much.
