Unless you’re stuck in your teenage years where 12 hours of sleep was the norm, chances are you’re tired. Whether your boss doesn’t seem to acknowledge that the rest of the world has a life after 5pm, your two-year-old (or 12-year-old) refuses to go to bed, or you just can’t make yourself turn off Conan, the next day can be exhausting and draining. Foot-In-Mouth Disease: 10 Lines You Never Want Your Doctor to Deliver

Somebody save my butt. Literally. I can envision those very words coming out of my mouth if ever, in the near or distant future, I have to have a colonoscopy. Yesterday, Reuters reported on a new study that suggests doctors are less likely to catch cancer-causing polyps during a late-day colonoscopy exam because of fatigue. So. Many. Punchlines.

Sure, doctors are human, and are prone to same human errors as we are, but when a doctor is examining your holiest of holies (pun intended), you really don’t want to go through all that pants-around-your-ankles embarrassment and discomfort just to be told your doc needs to catch up on her ZZZ’s.
