Congrats to Courtney, and if you didn’t win, I came across a good article on what to say when interviewer a caregiver. In addition, it also has tips for how to successfully hire someone, and one of the points that stuck out for me was defining the job description. It isn’t enough just to say you want them to “watch” your kid or parent, you’ve got to define what else that may entail. Do the duties include taking them to the doctor? Doing laundry? Interacting with them? Be specific in order to find the best possible person for your loved one.
