Just this Monday the little guy had his first day of kindy. I took plenty of photos to make sure I caught all the excitement. Also just over the weekend the big guy came over to show us his first car. I remembered to take a photo of that, too. My daughter hasn’t got anything to contribute just lately, as she’s been so busy, but she is still working at her first full time job, although I didn’t get a photo of that.

Notebook magazine is running a competition with a fine list of firsts I recommend as journal writing prompts. Their competition is open to Australian and New Zealand residents. Why not make it just as difficult, er… more like a challenge, and write your response in 25 words or less, too. Or, you could enter the competition. You’ll need to be a member of their website first, though.
