Free Valentine’s Day crafts for kids

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner!  I think it’s fun for the whole family to share holidays together, so I’ve found a collection of different free kids crafts for Valentine’s Day. I’ve already got a pretty good collection of free Valentine’s Day craft patterns online already – but let’s have fun with the kids today!
My woven heart bag is a great project for kids – younger ones may need a little extra help though   I’d recommend using felt or another non-fray fabric instead of the fused cotton I used during the tutorial.

It’s not quite Hallowe’en and we’re not celebrating Thanksgiving yet – but your kids still want to make crafts with a Fall theme – what’s a fiber person to do?
Luckily, there are tons of free, fun patterns for kids!

This pumpkin is perfect for your pre-teen or tween who wants to learn how to cross-stitch.
Toddlers can learn to “sew” with these fun laced Hallowe’en themed projects.
Your older child can make their own sewn trick-or-treat bag using these easy instructions.
Make pumpkin lanterns or luminaries with glass jars and fabric.
